PURPOSE:To ensure and facilitate molding of a panel material and fitting execution for the material in a panel material fitting structure so as to obtain a structure which has good fitting execution of a joint plate for covering a joint produced in a connecting part of frame members and can achieve easy and sure post-fitting of a joint mixture. CONSTITUTION:In a fitting structure for a panel material for building where a panel unit framed in a square is installed on a base material B for building, the panel unit A is installed on a frame member 5 framed in the peripheral edge of the plate-like panel material. The panel units A are fixed side by side to the base material, a joint mixture 6 is inserted between frame members of adjacent panel units A in such a manner as to stride over the joint mounting stepped parts formed on the frame members, and the joint mixture is pressed and held by a spring material 7 installed on the base material side of the joint mixture.
