PURPOSE:To easily make distinct an auxiliary brake lamp from a tail lamp at night by a method wherein only the auxiliary brake lamp is equipped with the flashing control equipment in a lighting circuit. CONSTITUTION:As to the recognizing device for an alarm lamp of a vehicle ahead of a vehicle behind, the unnecessary wave length light is cut by a filter 1a, and the brake lamp light within a telescopic viewfield angle is detected by a pyroelectric sensor 1c. If the flashing cycle is integration-set beforehand, the brake lamp light quantity can be detected even if it is less than the peripheral light quantity. The output of the sensor is counted by the counter of a flashing judging device 2, and when the flashing over a certain set value is counted, the existence of flashing is judged, and an alarm buzzer 3 is operated by the output signal. When the luminance change has the nonlighting time less than the after image time of an eye, the distinct discrimination between the tail lamp light at night and the luminance change light in brake operation can be achieved in an electronics aspect. |
