The cooling ceiling, having a cooling register of water-carrying copper cooling pipes which is integrated into reinforcing profiles, is equipped with ceiling profiles (10) which, firstly, cover the cooling ceiling visually to the interior of the room and, secondly, bring about a particularly favourable convection of the room air to be cooled. The ceiling profiles (10) are constructed as air-guiding profiles with air-guiding legs (14). In the installed position, the air-guiding legs (14) are inclined to such a degree in the direction of the ceiling or air-guiding profile located next in each case that air channels are formed which optimally guide the rising warm room air around the cooling pipes of the cooling register. As a result, effective and draught-free cooling and good channelling-off even of high thermal loads are achieved, along with pleasant room air conditions. <IMAGE>
