摘要

PURPOSE:To easily manage data recorded on a video tape housed in a video tape cassette by easily inputting printed data to a VTR having a label printing function and clearly and surely printing the data. CONSTITUTION:A hand written character input device 102 is provided so that printing data can be easily inputted. A control means which stores the printable areas of a video tape cassette in a memory and makes characters to be printed in the printable areas is provided. In addition, a clocking function and means which automatically prints a program name on the label 5 of the cassette 2 by utilizing the program name out of characters superimposed upon telecast pictures are provided. Furthermore, the picture of a table of content prepared from recorded information is recorded in the starting part of a video tape and displayed on a multiwindow screen at the time of reproduction.
