Destination-guidance display

The invention relates to a destination-guidance display for a navigation system of a road vehicle, which is designed as an electrooptical display and can be driven by a destination-guidance computer. The recommended direction of travel at a specific location can be shown by means of a direction arrow which consists of an arrow tip 3 and shaft 4 and the instantaneous distance from the specific location can be shown by means of a bar chart 5. The bar chart 5 forms the shaft 4 of the direction arrow 2, the driven bar 6 furthest away from the arrow tip 3 showing the instantaneous distance from the specific location and moving in the direction of the arrow tip as this distance is reduced.
