Filtration device for clearing mud from pipework systems, made up of a body (2) comprising an opening for access to the interior, shut off by an inspection plug (2b), an entry pipe (2f) and an exit pipe (2g) for the said liquid, characterised in that it comprises, inside the said body (2) and in combination, on the one hand baffles (3b) for forcing the liquid to pass through it along a sinuous path with a view to obtaining the sedimentation of the said impurities in suspension in the said liquid and, on the other hand, magnetic attraction means (4) distributed over the path of the liquid inside the said body in order to retain the metal particles produced by the oxidation of the pipework and of the equipment of the said systems. Finds its application especially in central heating systems, steam water (condensates) and hot sanitary water. <IMAGE>
