PURPOSE:To increase the weld strength and resistance to deterioration by heat at high temp. and to improve workability during welding, by dissolving a phenoxy resin and 2,2'-(1,3-phenylene)bis(2-oxazoline) or its derivative in a solvent. CONSTITUTION:A self-weldable resin compsn. is formed by dissolving a phenoxy resin and 2,2'-(1,3-phenylene)bis(2-oxazoline) (hereinafter referred to as PBO) or its derivative in a solvent. Said compsn. is used as a base and formulations such as A to C may be used by adding additional components thereto. (A): the phenoxy resin, PBO and at least one thermosetting resin is dissolved in a solvent. (B):the phenoxy resin and PBO or its derivative are dissolved in a solvent and an org. filler having an average particle size of 20mum or below (e.g., polyethylene, polypropylene) is blended therewith. (C): the phenoxy resin, PBO and at least one thermosetting resin are dissolved in a solvent and an org. filler having an average particle size of 20mum or below is blended therewith. |
