PURPOSE:To drastically simplify, facilitate, and execute accurately and effectively mounting of a ball screw with flange on a machine, a device and the like. CONSTITUTION:A ball screw is provided with a screw shaft 1 as well as a nut 8, a ball 3, a returning groove for circulating the ball 3, and a flange 9 for fixing the nut 8 to a machine, device and the like 6. A collar part 10 consisting of a spherical surface having the same center shaft as that of the screw shaft 1 is provided on the end part of the nut 8, while the flange 9 is provided with a space having the inner wall consisting of a spherical surface concentrical with the collar part 10. The collar part 10 is held in the space, and the screw shaft 1 is vacillated toward the flange 9. A lock nut 11 for fixing the collar part 10 to the flange 9 at an optional point, and a means for pressing a steel ball from the side of the flange 9 to a V-groove 12 provided on the surface of the collar part 10, and for preventing the rotation of the nut 8 in relation to the flange 9, are also provided. |
