<p>PURPOSE:To convey a transfer material of unconveyable length and to perform continuous paper passing by providing a transfer material conveying auxiliary member capable of adjusting to at least a conveyable length relating to the transfer material of unconveyable length, in a conveying path of an image forming device. CONSTITUTION:In a laser beam printer, of sizes of transfer paper conveyable in a device main unit, relating to the lengthwise direction, the paper is set to a size longer than a distance to a fixing part from a transfer roller. In the case of conveying transfer paper P (for instance, government postcard) shorter than this distance, a transfer material conveying auxiliary member 100 of almost recessed shape as viewed by plane is used. This auxiliary member 100, formed of polyethylene, paper, etc., is provided with a seal material, which can be repeatedly pasted and separated, in parts (seal part) 110a to 110d as shown by oblique lines. The drawing shows dimensions C for lateral width of the transfer paper P and D, E for the minimum length conveyable by the device main unit, and this auxiliary member 100 is pasted together to a reverse surface relating to a printing surface of the transfer paper, to perform paper passing.</p> |
