PURPOSE:To provide a failure recovery device for elevator which, when an elevator fails, does not transmit failure signal immediately to a central monitoring center, but diagnoses the cause of failure and, when it is small, the failure is recovered immediately and, when it is not recovered, gives failure signal to the central monitoring center. CONSTITUTION:A failure recovery device for elevator is provided with a diagnosis function part 6b which diagnoses whether a failure produced is within a specified range or not when the failure occurs on an elevator, an operating part 6c which, when the failure is within a specified range as the result of diagnosis, prevents a failure signal from being transmitted from a failure detector device 3 to a central monitoring center 4, and operates a power switch 7 for control device, and a failure recovery detecting function part 6d which releases the prevention of transmission of the failure signal from the failure detector device 3 to the central monitoring center 4 when the failure is not recovered as the result of operation of the power switch 7. |
