PURPOSE:To provide a film having excellent curl resolving property, size stabil ity, and deformation resistance by using the film having the glass transition temperature of a specific value or above and made of polyethylene naphthalate having glycol containing metal sulfonate as a copolymerization component. CONSTITUTION:A copolymerization polyethylene naphthalate film has glycol containing metal sulfonate as a copolymerization component, and its glass transition temperature is 80 deg.C or above. A low-grade alkylene oxide addition product of a sulfobis phenol compound, a low-grade alkylene oxide addition product of sulfohydroquinone, and alkaline metal salt and alkaline earth metal of sulfocyclohexane dimethanol and sulfoalkylene glycol are used for the glycol component containing metal sulfonate. The component of aromatic glycol or aliphatic glycol is preferable in view of the heat resistance of a film, and aromatic glycol is preferable in particular. |
