PURPOSE:To provide a pressure sensitive recording sheet wherein it is not dirtied by oil or the like and not damaged even when it is wetted by water and also dirt and water stuck to the recording sheet are easily removed without damaging the recording contents by coating the surface of a pressure sensitive color development layer with a protective film consisting of polymer substance and providing fine unevennesses on the surface thereof. CONSTITUTION:Coating of a protective film 8 for a self-color development type pressure sensitive paper 4 is performed by a method for coating polymer substance or contact-bonding the film of the polymer substance. Fine unevennesses 9 are numerously provided on the whole face of the protective film 8 on the front side (namely the surface of a pressure sensitive color development layer 3) of the pressure sensitive paper 4 and the protective film 8 on the rear side (namely the rear side of base paper 2) of the pressure sensitive paper 4. The unevennesses 9 are preferably regulated to the size from several microns to about 10mum The unevenness 9 are formed by a method for pressing a roller provided with unevennesses corresponding to the unevennesses 9 on the external circumference to the protective film 8. |
