PURPOSE:To avoid an error, etc., of a mounting position of a component cartridge by providing an identifying display at the cartridge side, providing reading means at the display of an automatic mounting machine side, and identifying the cartridge by the machine itself. CONSTITUTION:A bar code label 18 in which information regarding a component contained in a component cartridge 15 is adhered to a position of a holder 14 opposed to a bar code reader 16. On the other hand, the holder 14 has a shape for guiding a mounting position of individual component cartridge, and the reader 16 is provided at a position opposed to the label 18 at the time of mounting the cartridge. When the cartridge 15 is mounted in the holder 14, the label 18 adhered to the cartridge 15 is read by the reader 18, and a type of the component contained in the cartridge 15 is recognized. |
