PURPOSE:To obtain a norbornene resin composite molded product not generating deformation such as cracking or warpage by arranging a metal core material having a norbornen resin layer formed to the periphery thereof in uniform thickness in a mold and injecting a reactive soln. containing a norbornen monomer and metathesis catalyst in the mold to perform bulk polymerization. CONSTITUTION:This method is especially effective when a metal core material large in the difference of a heat shrinkage factor with a norbornene resin is used. For example, the core material 2 is supported in a mold so as to generate a uniform gap in the periphery thereof and a norbornene resin layer 3 having almost uniform thickness is formed around the core material by an RIM method. Since the outer layer 3 of the core material 2 is not closely bonded to a resin 4 molded later and a heat shrinkage factor is almost same, even when heat stress of a cooling and heating cycle is applied, no interfacial cracking or warpage is generated. Therefore, it is unnecessary to make the resin layer uniform. |
