<p>PURPOSE:To attain the generation of a delay amount according to arbitrary distribution by connecting a private hardware for simulation and the control terminal between terminals. CONSTITUTION:The private hardware is inserted between the terminals, a delay parameter is inputted from a console for control, the implementation value of the arbitrary delay time distribution is prepared, and a table for setting the parameter is set. A cell transmitted from the terminal is stored in a storage memory 4, a random number generated by a random number generating means 2 is used as an address, the value of the table for setting the parameter is read and used as a delay time, and the cell stored in the cell storage memory 4 is outputted after the delay for the delay time is applied to the cell. That is, the random number for operating the delay is generated, the table corresponding to the delay parameter is set, and the delay is generated by referring to the delay data of the table based on the random number. Therefore, the delay amount according to the arbitrary distribution can be generated.</p> |
