PURPOSE:To provide a ROM emulation system debugger with which a user can use an entire ROM area of a target system. CONSTITUTION:A ROM emulation system debugger is provided with an emulation RAM 1 where a user program to be carried out by a target CPU 11 is written, a monitor ROM 2 where a monitor program to be carried out by the CPU 11 is written, a bank control means 3 which decides the RAM 1 or the ROM 2 that is assigned in the ROM area of a target system, an address interruption monitoring means 4 which requests the means 3 to switch the RAM 1 to the ROM 2 when the CPU 11 reads an interruption vector, and a bank changeover switch 5 which performs the control to allow or inhibit the means 3 to switch the RAM 1 to the ROM 2. |
