The spectacles frame (2) has ear stirrups (5,6) a holder (7,8) for each lens (3,4) and at least one bridge (9) coupling the holders, as well as nose pads (10,11). A support bracket (12) forces the holder for each lens, which grips round the latter by a U-shaped end member (13,14) abutting the rear side of each lens.Pref. the support bracket has two end members and abuts on the lens rear side with a resilient prestress. the U-shaped end member may consists of two chamber (17). One, abutting the lens front side (19), may be shorter than the rear side hanker.
