CUTOFF AND TRANSFERENCE MECHANISM FOR REWINDER A method of rewinding a web on cores to provide retail-sized rolls wherein the web is carried by a bedroll equipped with an emergent knife means for cutoff and control means for transfer of the web, the knife and control means operating on the web in conjunction with a brush roll.
