PURPOSE:To reduce manufacturing cost by means of reducing the required number of air control valves and to sufficiently atomize injection fuel by means of suppressing consumption of needless mixing air. CONSTITUTION:The number of required air control valves A, B are reduced because an upper stream side air mixture duct 41 is branched toward two groups separating respective cylinders of an engine 2 and connected to a fuel injection valve 26 of the respective cylinders through the respective air control valves A, B and a lower streamside air mixture duct 42 while opening and closing of respective air control valves A, B are controlled to synchronize with the fuel injection of cylinders belonging to the corresponding group. When either of the air control valves A or B is opened, the other air control valve A or B has its valve maintained in the closing state thus consumption of needless mixing air is suppressed. |
