PURPOSE:To provide a magneto-optical information processor which is miniaturized and reduced in weight. CONSTITUTION:The processor is provided with an optical head 400 receiving two beams which is polarized and separated with PBS 44 by two photodetectors 51 and 52 having the normal lines of light receiving surfaces in almost same directions, a magnetic head 300, a spindle motor 200 moving a recording medium 1 and a linear motor 900 moving the optical head 400 in the direction perpendicular to the direction along a recording track. |
