PURPOSE:To provide an enhanced image displaying function by increasing the number of colors of an image to be displayed to three or more. CONSTITUTION:A heat generator layer 11 is formed on a matrix 15, and heat generators (shaded parts) are disposed. A colored layer 12 is provided on the layer 11, and Y (yellow), M (magenta) and C (cyan) of three primary colors are regularly so formed on the layer 12 as to be substantially coincide with shapes of the generators. A thermochromic layer 13 and a protective layer 14 provided on the layer 13 are provided on the layer 12. When a voltage is applied to the generator Nos. l, 3, 5 to generate heats, a corresponding part of the layer 13 is whitened as indicated by shades. In this case, when an image display sheet is observed from above, a first area becomes white, a second area becomes M, a third area becomes white, a fourth area becomes Y and a fifth area becomes M, and a plurality of colors are displayed. |
