<p>The invention relates to a timepiece of the type comprising: - a case (2), - a battery hatch (4) formed by a housing (6) accommodated inside the case (2) in order to receive an electrical energy source formed by a battery (P), and - means of closing the housing (6), these means including a removable cover (14) capable of being mechanically latched to the case (2) and a gasket (16) fashioned so as to be interposed between the cover (14) and the case (2), this piece being characterised in that the gasket (16) is a solid lip seal extending over the whole front surface (SF) of the battery (P) and affording, in addition to the sealing of the housing (6), an axial rest for the battery (P) towards one end of the housing (6). <IMAGE></p> |
