PURPOSE:To improve light resistance before use by using microcapsules containing a specified electron donative colorless dye, an aniline compound, and a hindered phenol compound. CONSTITUTION:The recording material comprises the microcapsules containing the electron donative colorless dye represented by formula I, the aniline compound represented by formula II, and the hindered phenol represented by formula III or IV, and an electron acceptor. In formulae I-IV, each of R<1>-R<4> is, independently, alkyl or aryl, or each of (R<1> and R<2>) and (R<3> and R<4>) may combine with each other to form a 5-to 8-membered hetero ring comprising the adjacent N atom and optional other hetero atom, or R<1> and/or R<2> may combine with the C atom situated at the o-position to the -N(R<1>)(R<2>) group and R<3> and/or R<4> may combine with the C atom situated at the o-position to the -N(R<3>)(R<4>) group to form an N-containing hetero ring; R<9> is H or substituted amino; and m is an integer of 1-4. |
