PURPOSE:To prevent display of a low voltage alarm together with the deterioration in the reception function resulting from a towered backup battery voltage by implementing reception operation and display operation with a built-in backup battery when a battery of the radio calling receiver is removed for the replacement. CONSTITUTION:A switching signal contact 7 connecting to a changeover signal line (b) via a switch 4 is provided in the vicinity of a positive side contact 6 to which a power supply line (a) is turned ON when a battery 3 is inserted. The contact 7 is conducted in contact with the positive side contact 6 when the battery 3 is inserted, and as soon as the battery 3 is removed, the contact 7 is open and a control section is set on the power saving operation mode even when the switch 4 is turned ON. |
