COMPLEX FOAM AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To obtain a complex foam excellent in cleanability, light in weight and excellent in soft feel by integrating into a one piece formed product a non-foaming layer formed from a specific thermoplastic elastomer power composition and a foaming layer formed from the foaming composition having a thermally decomposable type foaming agent added to polypropylene resin powder. CONSTITUTION:A non-foaming layer is formed from a thermoplastic elastomer powder composition consisting of ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer rubber and polyolefin resin and having a complex dynamic viscosity eta (1) of at most 1.5X10<5> poises at 25 deg.C at a frequency of 1 redian/second and a Newton viscosity index of at most 0.67 when calculated from the formula [wherein eta (100) represents complex dynamic viscosity at a frequency of 100 radian/second]. A foaming layer is formed from the foaming composition having a thermally decomposable type foaming agent and/or liquid coating agent added to polyethylene resin power and is integrated with the non-foaming layer to produce a one piece formed product.
