PURPOSE:To produce a vinyl chloride polymer which gives a molded article excellent in heat stability, almost free from fish eye, and practically nontoxic. CONSTITUTION:This vinyl chloride polymer is produced by subjecting vinyl chloride or a mixture thereof with a monomer copolymerizable therewith to the suspension polymn. in an aq. medium in the presence of an oil-sol. polymn. initiator and a dispersion stabilizer which comprises a partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol having a degree of saponification of 70-90mol% and an average degree of polymn. of 1,500-3,000, a partially saponified polyvinyl alcohol having a degree of saponification of 70-90mol% and an average degree of polymn. of 300-1,000, a secondary dispersant, and a water-sol. cellulose ether. |
