The installation consists of an evaporator (11) which is buried in the ground, a condenser (13) and a compressor located in a box (12).The compressor box is fixed to the outside of an exterior wall (17) in which it can be partially enclosed. In a variant of the design, the compressor box can be mounted in or on the inner surface of the building's exterior wall or on an internal partition. In other variants of the design, the compressor box can be situated below ground in a floor slab or inside a housing mounted on the outer wall.
