摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a radiation detector wherein it prevents a cross talk between individual detection elements, its sensitivity distribution is made uniform and its productivity can be enhanced. CONSTITUTION:A multielement solid-state radiation detector is provided with a radiation-detection-element array composed of the following: a multichannel photodiode 3; a scintillator 1 which is bonded to the photodiode 3; and a plurality of isolation plates 2 which are inserted into grooves for channel isolation use in the photodiode 3. In the multielement solid-state radiation detector, the following are bonded to the photodiode 3: the scintillator 1 which has been formed to be plate-shaped; and light-shading objects 6 which are bonded to, or coated on, both end parts in its lengthwise direction and which can shade individual detection elements optically. The scintillator 1 and the shading objects 6 which have been bonded are cut and worked along separation lines for individual channels. Then, grooves 8 into which the isolation plates 2 are inserted can be formed.
