<p>The present invention relates to a seal for rotating members, particularly for rotary joints formed between a pivot 3 and a hub 5 with the interposition of bearings 4. It consists of the set of two axially symmetrical elements of annular shape, the first of which 1 is of annular shape and has two sealing lips 10 and 11, while the second 2 is rigid and has the function of supporting the first and providing protection. The two sealing lips 10 and 11 provide a seal which slides, respectively, against a frontal surface essentially perpendicular to the axis of rotation, and against a cylindrical surface with generatrices essentially parallel to the axis of rotation. The second element 2 has a frontal projecting element of tubular shape 20, configured and designed to be fitted coaxially, with a predetermined degree of tightness, in a frontal hollow seat 14 provided in the said first element 1. <IMAGE></p> |
