<p>PURPOSE:To provide the liquid crystal display device which fundamentally eliminates the crossover between a TFT selection line and a signal line. CONSTITUTION:The TFT selection lines 1 are formed on an insulating substrate, semiconductor layers 5 are formed thereupon across insulating layers, and drain electrodes 3 and source electrodes 4 are formed on the semiconductor layers 5 to constitute TFTs 2 for display, and a display electrode 6 is formed corresponding to each TFT 2 for display, each display electrode 6 is connected to the source electrode 4 of the corresponding TFT 2 for display and also connected to the drain electrodes 3 of the TFTs 2 for display arranged in the same row and column, and the TFTs 2 for display are connected, column by column, in series by the display electrodes 6. Consequently, the crossover between the TFT selection lines and signal lines is fundamentally eliminated to solve a problem such as a leak and a short circuit between signal conductors.</p> |
