PURPOSE:To inexpensively produce a lining material with projections having anchor effect with good productivity by forming a large number of projections on the outer surface of the peripheral wall of a lining material simultaneously with the molding of the lining material and forming engaging projection parts to the tip parts of the projections. CONSTITUTION:A large number of projection forming depressed parts 22 are formed to the body wall part 21 of a rotary mold 20 for a lining material 11 and, in a first process, the raw material of the lining material made of a synthetic resin is introduced into the rotary mold 20 to be subjected to rotary molding to mold the lining material 11 having a large number of projections 15 provided to the peripheral wall 14 thereof. In a second process, a heater is pressed to the tip parts of the projections 15 of the lining material 11 to deform the tip parts to form engaging projection parts at the tips of the projections.
