PURPOSE:To execute the specification of only one character with high operability at the time of specifying the range of a character string to be edited. CONSTITUTION:A cursor movement control part 6 moves and displays a cursor to/on a position indicated by coordinate data inputted by prescribed operation using a stylus pen 2. When coordinate data corresponding to an edition menu key formed in a character input area on the display screen of an integrated type display/input device 20 are inputted, a main control part 9 judges the data and displays an edition menu pattern on an edition menu control part 7. When a menu item is selected out of the edition menu by the operation of the pen 2 after displaying the edition menu, an operation execution part 8 executes an editing function specified by the menu item selected and specified from the edition menu only for the character pointed out by the cursor at present. |
