PURPOSE:To obtain easily a cleaning agent which can remove deposits from a molding machine without cleaning it after disassembly after molding by adding a coarse particulate filler which does not melt at the cylinder temperature, to a thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:This agent is produced by adding 20-40 pts.wt. filler having a mean particle diameter of 1-6mum to 100 pts.wt. thermoplastic resin. Although the thermoplastic resin may be suitably selected according to the relationship between the cleaning agent and the thermoplastic resin to be molded, it is desirably one that is the same as the thermoplastic resin fed after cleaning. Examples of the filler which may be suitably selected ones that do not melt at the cylinder temperature of the machine include carbon black and wood flour. By using the above agent, deposits can be easily removed from a molding machine owing to the added filler that does not melt at the cylinder temperature. |
