PURPOSE:To obtain the optical board which can greatly save a space and store many optical components and electronic circuit components. CONSTITUTION:The optical component board consists of a metallic printed board 1 where an electronic circuit pattern mounted with photosemiconductor elements 2 and 3, the electronic circuit components controlling them, a multi-pin electric connector 5, and at least >=2 optical connectors 4 is provided on the surface, an optical component fixation plate 6 provided with a frame for storing a case 12 containing a part 13 where the optical components and optical fibers are connected by fusion splicing and optical fiber excessive-length parts 15 at the peripheral part, and at least >=2 spacers made of heat insulating members which position and fix the metallic printed board 1 and optical component fixation plate 6 mutually; and the board can be made compact and increased in package density and heat generated by the electronic circuit is hardly conducted to the optical components. |
