摘要

Nuclear fusion is induced, not in the whole reactor but at a virtual point, making it easier to control the pressure or radiation resulting. Several pairs of diametrically opposed jets of fusionable material are focussed by optical, magnetic or electrical means to coincide at a virtual point.
