PURPOSE:To provide an image forming method for obtaining a reproduced image of high quality with high transfer efficiency in simple constitution even in the case of using ordinary paper. CONSTITUTION:In this image forming method provided with an image carrier 1 formed of light transmittable organic photo-semiconductor material and a developing roller 4 forming a magnetic brush so as to transfer and fix an image developed by radiating an optical signal from the back face of the image carrier 1, positive chargeable magnetic toner and negative chargeable magnetic toner, formed mainly of binding resin and 30-75wt.% of magnetic powder, containing 2-20wt.% of conductive grain and with the volume resistivity in an electric field of D.C. 100V/cm being 10<4>-10<12>OMEGA.cm, are mixed with each other to be used, and negative bias voltage is applied to a sleeve to pressure-transfer the toner image, formed on the image carrier 1, onto ordinary paper. |
