The coupling system uses a bridge section (2) forming a flat or arched roof between two spaced telephone kiosks (1) to provide an intermediate open space accessible to wheelchairs, in which auxiliary units (5, 6) are housed. Pref. the bridge section is assembled from roof panels and profile elements (3) which match the profile elements (16) used in the construction of the telephone kiosks (1). The open space can be used to house a post box and/or a stamp dispensing machine. ADVANTAGE - Practical use of space, e.g. for mail box or stamp machine, with aesthetic appearance.
