CODE DATA SUPPLY METHOD AND CODE DATA TRANSMITTER

PURPOSE:To obtain an efficient system by comparing a decoding processing capability and a transmission capability, obtaining quantity of code data able to be operated within a changeover time for the processing of more deteriorated capability in the unit of hierarchy and applying the data to the decoding processing means. CONSTITUTION:A switching time t0 set to a timer 231 is stored in a memory 314 accesible from a main control section 312 of a disk controller 310. In this case, the control section 312 compares the time t0 with a required time obtained from a processing time table 216. The maximum required time less than the time t0 is detected and code data by relevant hierarchy number S are read and commanded to an access processing section 313. Thus, only the code data sent within the switching time t0 and able to be decoded are read from a magnetic disk 301 and fed to a decoding processing means 103 and it is possible to prevent occurrence of useless code data thrown away while being unprocessed after lapse of the switching time t0.
