PURPOSE:To enhance the visibility of a recording pattern enhanced in contrast with respect to a heated area and the periphery thereof by making the heated area of a thermal recording layer almost transparent by almost perfectly performing the involution of the metal of the heated area. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording medium wherein a thermal recording layer is formed on at least one main surface of a substrate and a protective layer composed of a resin is provided on the surface of the thermal recording layer, the thermal recording layer is constituted of a metal membrane constituted of Sn and the surface resistivity thereof is set to 3.0OMEGA/square or less. |
