Trough-shaped sections (14, 15) of plastic ducting are mfd. in parallel pairs with horizontal flanges outside (16) and between (18) for laying on the ground (10). Longitudinal ribs (22) along the roots of the flanges are gripped by corresp. mouldings (22a) on a double clip (25) pressed down on to the butted ends of two such sections. Each outside flange (16a) of the clip is drilled centrally for a bolt, screw or dowel (26) to be driven between the butted flange ends of the sections and into the ground. Flexible sealing strips (17) prevent seepage under the outside flanges. USE/ADVANTAGE - For pipes, cables or air-conditioning, mfr. and assembly of ducts of any length are facilitated and the joints can be sealed easily.
