PURPOSE:To eliminate a troublesome practice to connect a large-sized connector or a plurality of connectors having the number of contacts only for measurement points in replacement work of a fixture section installed to obtain measurement signals for an electronic circuit board. CONSTITUTION:There are installed a signal selection circuit 14, an analog/digital converter, and a parallel/serial converter 16, such as a multiplexer in a fixture section. There is also installed a serial/parallel converter 18 to a test section of a device itself, thereby converting a large number of measurement signals, which are transmitted from a contact pin 6a with an electronic circuit, into serial digital signals so that the signals may be transmitted by way of a cable which connects the fixture section to a device main body. As a result, this construction makes it possible to reduce the number of contacts dramatically, and connect the connectors with ease. It is also possible to reduce the number of connectors remarkably even when no parallel/serial converter 16 and no serial/parallel converter 18 are installed. |
