A telescopic supporting arm (16) is described which is adjustable in length and which can be stopped automatically in any desired position of extension. For this purpose, clamping parts (30) are inserted into the respective outer arm members (28) of the supporting arm, which clamping parts guide the respective inner arm member (28) and have a clamping receptacle (32) at the top and at the bottom. Due to the weight acting on the supporting arm (16), the inner arm member (28) is tilted towards the outer arm member (28) and clamped fixedly in the upper and lower clamping receptacles (32). <IMAGE> |
