Control for the distribution points of marshalling hump track systems with a central automatic control

The reports originating from the run-in and run-out contacts (E1 to E3, A11 to A32), of the distribution points (W1 to W3) of a marshalling hump track system are stored in separate memories (FIFO 1, FIFO 2). The reports originating from the run-in contacts are treated with priority status in a processing device (VE). For this purpose, an evaluation logic (AL) tests before each input of a report originating from a run-out contact whether the run-in contact reports are present and then feeds these reports to the processing device (VE) via switches (U). The priority treatment of the reports originating from run-in contacts is provided because the processing of a queue could delay the treatment of these reports and possibly lead to operations and persons being put at risk. <IMAGE>
