PURPOSE:To obtain a low expansion ceramic formed plate excellent in strength and thermal shock resistance. CONSTITUTION:An intermediate compact of a mixture contg. 30-80wt.% low expansion glass powder, 20-60wt.% low expansion ceramic aggregate and 1-20wt.% microcrystalline silica is obtd. This intermediate compact contains plural metal wires embedded parallel to each other. The objective ceramic formed plate is produced by firing the compact. |
