PURPOSE:To rapidly and stably obtain the color print with high quality of a photosensitive material by developing the photosensitive material which does not contain silver iodide and contains a specified dyestuff, with a color developer which contains prescribed amounts of a chlorine or a bromine ion, respectively. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive material comprises a photosensitive emulsion layer contg. a coupler capable of forming a color matter by coupling reaction of the coupler with the oxidant of the aromatic primary amine developing main agent, and a silver chlorobromide particle which contains >=80mol.% of silver chloride, and does not substantially contain silver iodide, and the dyestuff shown by formula I. The photosensitive material is mounted on a reflection substrate having a transmission density of 0.9-0.2 at a red color region and developed with the color developer contg. the chlorine ion of 3.5X10<-2>-1.5X10<-1>mol/l and the bromine ion of 3.0X10<-5>-1.0X10<-3>mol/l. In formula I, R1 and R2 are each -OR5 or -COOR5 group, etc., R5 and R6 are each hydrogen atom or alkyl group, etc., R7 is alkyl group, L is methine group. Thus, the color print of the photosensitive material with the high quality is rapidly and stably obtd. |
