<p>A printing cylinder/roller cleaning apparatus for a printing press includes a belt-like cleaning cloth (6) and a detector (15). The cleaning cloth kept in a taut traveling state is pressed against the circumferential surface of a rotating printing cylinder/roller (1), to clean the circumferential surface of the printing cylinder/roller. The detector includes a detecting member (8b) to be pressed against the cleaning cloth in the taut traveling state to detect loosening of the cleaning cloth on the basis of a movement of the detecting member. <IMAGE></p> |
