PURPOSE: To provide an optimum dynamic prediction method for the completing time of a specific task by predicting the completing time of the task based on the size and executing speed of the task and repeating the prediction based on the measurements of succeeding executing speeds. CONSTITUTION: When a task successively increases, the prediction of the completing time of the task is corrected. Regarding the amount of the task, the size of the task is first decided in a measurement unit. After the task is started, the size is compared so as to generate elapsed time, device, and completing speed. The predicted speed is continuously and increasingly adjusted so as to compensate the dynamic change of the burden of work. The predicted completing time is drawn from the magnitude of the speed, the increasing prediction of the executing time of the whole task based on the speed information, and the actual elapsed time. Therefore, the variation of the execution characteristics of the task and the magnitude of the burden of a workstation are introduced to the adjustment of the predicted time. |
