PURPOSE:To change ink color simply without mixing colors by preventing ink from scattering when an ink tank and a recording head are replaced by a method wherein an ink passage means which can be respectively connected to the ink tank and the recording head and separated therefrom, and a connection means which can be connected respectively to the recording head and a recorder and separated therefrom, are provided, CONSTITUTION:By raising up a tank lever 107 in the direction (a) by rotating it, a lever in a carrier 102 is engaged with an ink tank guide groove provided to a side surface of an ink tank 2 and moves in the direction (b). Since a recording head 1 is fixed and is never moved together with the ink tank 2 at that time, an engaged part of the recording head 1 with the ink tank 2 is released, and they can be separated. Further, by moving the ink tank 2 in the direction (c), the ink tank can be removed from the carrier 102. |
