PURPOSE:To provide a foreign language input device capable of judging the spelling of a word simultaneously with its input and making it unnecessary to reinput a word in a foreign language having incorrect spelling. CONSTITUTION:An input control part 12 refers to a status storing part 13 storing status indicating whether the spelling of a word in a foreign language inputted from an input part 11 is to be judged or not, and when the judgement of the spelling is required, a space judging part 14 judges a space in input characters to find out an input word and a spelling judging part 15 judges the spelling of the inputted foreign language word. When the spelling is incorrect, the error is displayed on a display part 17. |
