<p>PURPOSE: To provide a device for minimizing the fear of the driving of an erroneous controlling function without imposing excessive burden on the eyes of a user by providing a means which detects a user operation corresponding to a state in which a controlling member is about to be driven, and a means which temporarily shows the instruction of the function selected at the time of detection to the user by an outputting means. CONSTITUTION: When a user is about to drive a controlling member 12, and actually not drive it, the instruction of the function of the controlling means 12 is temporarily made visible. The approaching distance of a finger 14 can be detected by a proximity sensor which is operated by, for example, a light, sound, or heat. A stage in which the user is about to drive the controlling member is generated when the finger 14 is beyond a boundary line indicated by a line 15, and a device equipped with a man-machine interface detects it, and applies the instruction of the function related with the controlling member 12. The actual driving is generated when the finger 14 is beyond a boundary line 17, and the device equipped with a user control interface executes the function related with the controlling member 12.</p> |
